Consumer Groups Urge House Committee to Pass Debt Collection Reform Bill

NACA joined other national consumer groups on a letter to the U.S. House Financial Services Committee in support of H.R. 2547, the “Comprehensive Debt Collection Improvement Act.” The bill would enact crucial debt collection reforms including adjusting FDCPA statutory damages for inflation.
