A wise lawyer friend said to me once, “I’ve gone solo but I’m not going to sit around and wait for the phone to ring.” His wife was in marketing, so he made key chains and got an 800-number and was a sponsor of rock concerts in our area, and that was great for getting the criminal law clients he was looking for. But what about the rest of us? How do we get our “message” out there, how do we let the world know about consumer law? One easy, cheap, very effective way is to network!
This webinar will discuss the how-to’s, ups and downs and what not to do’s of networking. Where can you go to find other lawyers and business owners to network with? What do you do once you’re there? How much should you pay (if anything) to network? What other activities provide great, effective networking opportunities? How do I go about developing a network outside of these networking activities? This webinar will challenge you to create a networking plan, set goals for network building and help you improve your ‘pitch’ to the outside world. With some slow and steady networking, your phone will ring without an expensive marketing budget and you will provide better service to your clients by having a network of referrals for their other needs.
